How do I book an appointment?
All first-time clients are required to book their initial appointment online to complete intake forms.
After your first appointment, existing clients may schedule future sessions by text or phone, if preferred.
Do you accept walk-ins?
No. All services are by appointment only.

What payment methods do you accept?
All appointments must be booked with a valid card on file, even if you plan to pay with cash or HSA at the time of service.
We accept all major credit and debit cards, HSA payments, and cash. Superbills are available upon request for clients seeking insurance reimbursement.
Do you accept insurance?
Seattle Amethyst Massage does not bill insurance directly.
At this time, HSA payments are accepted, and superbills can be provided for clients whose insurance plans offer reimbursement.

Do you offer medical massage?
Yes. Seattle Amethyst Massage provides medical and therapeutic massage services informed by advanced training and certifications, including oncology massage and breast/chest massage, along with years of clinical experience.
Massage therapy may be used to support pain management, injury recovery, post-surgical care, and overall wellness. Services are tailored to each client’s needs and health history. Massage therapy services are not intended to diagnose medical conditions or replace medical care. Clients should continue to work with their licensed healthcare providers for diagnosis and treatment.
Do I need to disclose medical conditions?
Yes. Clients are required to disclose relevant medical conditions, injuries, or contraindications prior to their session. Failure to do so may limit services or result in session modification or cancellation for safety reasons.
Do you offer massage for minors?
At this time, Seattle Amethyst Massage does not offer massage services for minors (17 years of age or younger).
Where do you offer mobile massage?
Mobile massage services are available throughout the Greater Seattle area, including:
Seattle, Issaquah, Federal Way, Kent, Auburn, Bellevue, Renton, Snoqualmie, Sammamish, Mercer Island, and Maple Valley. Clients are responsible for providing a safe, clean, and appropriate space for mobile massage services. Seattle Amethyst Massage reserves the right to decline or end a session if the environment is unsafe or unsuitable.
Do you offer prenatal massage?
Yes. Prenatal massage is available starting at 12 weeks gestation (after the first trimester) when it’s generally comfortable and safe for expecting mothers. Please let us know if you have specific medical concerns.
How do I book chair massage for events?
Click the Contact button at the top of the page and send your event details (date, location, number of attendees, and service requested). We aim to respond within 24 hours.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time are subject to a 100% charge of the total service booked. This includes same-day cancellations, no-shows, and late rescheduling requests.
What should I expect during my massage?
Your therapist will start with a brief intake to learn about your goals and any areas of tension. You will be draped with linens for privacy, and only the area being worked on will be uncovered. Communication is welcome — let your therapist know if you’d like more or less pressure or if you have any comfort concerns.
What happens if I’m late?
If you arrive late for your scheduled appointment, your session may be shortened to ensure the next client is not delayed. Full charges may apply.
What is your professional conduct policy?
Seattle Amethyst Massage maintains a strictly professional and therapeutic environment. Any inappropriate behavior, language, or requests will result in immediate termination of the session, and full charges will apply.
Do You Offer Senior Discount’s?
Yes, clients age 60+ receive $20 off massage services. Discount applies to services only, cannot be combined with other offers, and does not include gratuity.
